Salvation Does Not Protect Us From Satan - 09/05/2003
AND I AM A CHRISTIAN. SALVATION DOESN'T PREVENT THE DEVIL FROM
MANIPULATING EVERY ASPECT OF OUR LIVES. YET YOU TELL CHRISTIANS, OR CLAIM THAT WE ARE IMPERVIOUS TO SATANS AUTHORITY, WHICH IS NOT TRUE.
YOU SAY WE HAVE POWER OVER SATAN, WHICH IS NOT TRUE. SATAN IS THE DESTROYER OF SOULS AND TO DO THAT HE DESTROYS PEOPLE.
I BLAME THE DEVIL FOR THE PROBLEMS IN EVERY SUBTLE ASPECT OF MY DAY TO DAY LIFE THAT CAUSE ME HARM, PAIN, STRESS, ETC.
OUR SALVATION DOES NOT PROTECT US AGAINST SATANS INCIDEOUS ACTIONS. SO DON'T PREACH THIS NONSENSE AND THEN WONDER WHY PEOPLE DON'T ATTEND CHURCH.
CONTENDER MINISTRIES RESPONSE:
Hi Kitty. Thanks for writing to us. Satan can torment us to be sure. The story of Job is a good example of that. Yet often we have to shoulder some of the blame for giving Satan ground in our lives. James 4:7 says, "Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." This doesn't mean Satan will never attack you, but if you resist the devil in faith and submission to God, you will gain victory. You will be in our prayers.
